Bottom Line Construction Development, LLC (BLCD) is a fully licensed and insured firm with locations in Harlem (East 126th St.) and Queens, NY. The company was established by Alexis McSween in 2010 as its sole principal.  BLCD achieved its Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) certification in 2011 and its New York State certification in 2012 which improved the company’s participation on city and government construction projects.

BLCD has worked on several permitted construction projects throughout the five boroughs involving, design, renovations, structural work, carpentry, partitions, plumbing and electrical.

BLCD has maintains a professional and ongoing relationship with its trade and professional subcontractors which further adds to their continued growth.

Alexis McSween
Alexis McSweenPrincipal
Alexis McSween brings over eighteen years of practical and formal experience to Bottom Line Construction & Development. She has promoted a company culture based on her own high standards of perseverance, teamwork and a unique talent of forming successful collaborations. Ms. McSween is a Registered Nurse, has a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management, a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development with a minor in Construction Management from New York University’s Shack Real Estate Institute.

Her passion began in 1994, following the complete gut and rehabilitation of her first multi-family residence, located in Queens, NY. Private funding and a New York City affordable housing grant provided upfront funding for the massive renovations made in this project.

While earning her Masters, she worked as a project manager for a NYC construction & management firm on projects totaling $3 million dollars.

Ms. McSween has developed and or renovated several projects since 1994 and continues to find innovative ways to construct and develop in NYC.
